What Can IGIPRP Do?
The International Gaming Industry Poverty Relief
Project or IGIPRP, to use our rather unmelodic
acronym was founded by a group of people who
have been working in the online gaming industry since
1995.
Involved
with local and international charities as individuals,
the group looked at the rapidly-increasing revenues
of the gaming industry and wondered: What if a percentage
of that profit was diverted into charitable projects?
How much of a difference could that make in the world?
With so many people suffering and so much potential
help available, the group decided it was worth a try.
IGIPRP is made up of industry insiders and others
familiar with the online gaming world. We believe
a responsible gaming industry can be a steady and deep source of charitable funding.
Our goal is to encourage industry participants companies, executives, and individual gamers alike to join with us to help eradicate global poverty.
